Some Of Our Past Pupils Successes

The June Glennie School of dance, who are based in Lowestoft and Beccles have long been known for their unrivalled success rate of getting their pupils into London’s top colleges, onto West End shows and onto top Television programmes. Now they would like to congratulate some of their most recent pupils in their tremendous successes. Each of these girls started training at the June Glennie School Of Dance at around the age of 3yrs and at 18yrs old went on to train for a further 3yrs at top London colleges where they were awarded very rare £40,000 scholarships.
One of these pupils, Charlotte Watts, has recently landed a part in the original cast of new smash West End musical ‘Body Guard.’ Charlotte’s younger sister Libby also secured her first dream job as the white cat in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Musical ‘Cats,’ where she will be joining another past pupil Jo Lucy Rackham who plays ‘Electra.’
Sue Smith who has taught at the June Glennie school for the past 15yrs has recently received the amazing news that her daughter Lauren another former pupil has been chosen to dance on the Cunard World Cruise and will now get to travel the globe doing what she loves most. And finally Mrs Glennie’s grand-daughter, Hannah Malekzad who also enjoyed time singing and dancing on the Azzura cruise has now joined the cast of Monty Pythons ‘Spamalot’ on The West End.
The school are incredibly proud of all of their pupils and continue running classes in all areas of dance for girls and boys who want to just have fun or potentially explore a career in the industry. For more information please call 01502712741 or email them at juneglenniedance@gmail
